Product Description

The Goddess in the Office: A Personal Energy Guide for the Spiritual Warrior at Work

Book Description

Wise, whimsical, witty, and when it's called for, deliciously wicked, America's favorite witch stirs up an empowering brew for working women everywhere.

From receptionist to CEO and everyone in between, what woman wouldn't want to improve something (or many things) about her hectic seven-day work week?

In this gift-worthy guide, Z. Budapest combines down-to-earth tips and traditional magic to help women employ their powers to:

- get a raise
- increase productivity
- repel sexual harassment
- protect computer data and much more

Need to know how to get a raise, protect computer data, or find a new lover? Budapest has a spell for anyone or anything that offends or harasses you. A proponent of feminist witchcraft, Budapest asserts that sexual harassment can be stopped with the purchase of a pig's tongue, a rusty nail, and an application of urine. You can vibrate your brain, raise power, and create more resonance in your voice by humming. A pink candle and some rose petals are a call to the universe to send a new lover. Dedicated to Anita Hill, Budapest's book--with a dash of wit and whimsy--is for any woman who wants to make herself goddess for a day. However, this would not be of benefit for most general collections.

- Ravonne A. Green, Emmanuel Coll. Lib., Franklin Springs, Ga.

Goddess in the Office has been a life saver for me, has helped me tremendously in navigating the politics of the office. It has tremendously impacted my perspective on handling/harnessing/and drawing power from my own emotions instead of just being weighted down by them. Thank you for this book. I'm on my third copy, I have already worn out two. Blessed Be! - Julie

About the Author

Zsuzsanna E. Budapest was born in Budapest, Hungary. In 1971, she founded the Susan B. Anthony Coven Number 1, the first feminist Witches' coven, which became the role model for thousands of other spiritual groups. The California Institute for Integral Studies recently recognized Budapest as a foremother in the women's spirituality movement. She currently stars on her own cable television show, 13th Heaven, and is the director of the Women's Spirituality Forum.

Z Budapest is one of the founding mothers of modern women's witchcraft. She catapulted herself into the media spotlight when she was tried as a witch and found guilty in 1975 after being arrested on Venice Beach for reading tarot cards. She fought the charges and after a nine year battle, won the right for every tarot reader to do so legally.
